开源软件的开发模式决定了它依赖于为之无偿贡献的个人和企业的
付出，这种模式是如何保证开发者激励，以及是否能够持久一直是各界
学者争论的话题。

本文试图通过经济学的研究方法，从个人开发者的行为出发，探讨
其对开源软件做出贡献的同时是如何获得间接收益。并且在假设了开源
软件对知识产权制度没有做出应有的变革情况下，分析开发者失去对开
源贡献的激励，以此来证明开源软件的制度变革是其赖以生存的基础。

此外，制度变迁的效率决定了其在市场竞争中的表现。开源软件之所以
能和商业软件在市场中展开博弈，其依赖的比较优势也来源于其对知识
产权保护制度的变革之中，这也是开源软件经济效率的体现。

ABSTRACT
The open source software developed rapidly and became very popular in
the past more than thirty years, which has been playing an important role in
the area of system applications.
The open source software relies on individual’s contribution. Whether
this model is efficient and sustainable is debated by many scholars.
This paper tries to use economic methodology to describe how open
source developer obtains indirect benefit by intention analysis. Furthermore,
it explains institutional change is the cornerstone of open source because that
developer’s behavior could not be sustainable if open source system does not
change IPR. Meanwhile, institutional change is also the root cause of the fact
that open source software could compete with commercial software in the
