棒、垒球运动在世界上是具有影响和群众基础的体育项目，历经百年的发展，形 成了特殊的棒、垒球运动文化。它是一种集娱乐与运动为一体的多功能性体育运动项 目，既有对运动者脑力的要求又有对运动者身体素质的要求。在运动过程中，需运动 者密切的配合，运用眼力与脑力的相互配合才能达到较好的成绩。体力的消耗也是这 项运动的另一个特点，只有运动者超强的体力，才能在跑垒的过程中取胜。这项运动 虽然传入中国已有百年历史，但普及性并不高。众所周知，一项运动的开展和普及都 离不开群众的参与，得到群众的认可，在群众中普及不失为最好的方法之一，中学所 具备的条件和资源更为该项运动的顺利推广和普及提供捷径。本文的研究目的是通过 对无锡市中学推广棒、垒球系列运动的可行性进行研究，同时也为还没有开展和已经 开展棒垒球球运动的其他中学提供理论依据和实践指导。本文主要采用了文献资料、 访谈调查、问卷调查、数理统计分析的研究方法对无锡市中学棒、垒球系列运动的开 展现状、影响因素等基本情况作了较详细的全面调查研究。研究结果主要表现有，社 会大环境为无锡市中学推广棒、垒运动提供基础；体育课程改革为棒、垒球运动在中 学推广提供平台；得到了体育相关部门和部分专家的重视，同时也得到部分校领导及 体育教师对推广棒、垒运动的支持；无锡市已具备推广棒、垒运动的场地设施、师资 等一定的客观条件，但总体状况还是相对薄弱。无锡市部分中学生对棒、垒运动表现 出比较积极的态度。此外，国内已成功开展棒、垒运动的学校为无锡市中学推广棒、 垒球运动提供了宝贵的经验基础。 关键词，无锡市；中学；棒、垒球运动；可行性 作 者，章明华 指导老师，张建平II Wuxi city middle school to carry out the rods, softball feasibility study Abstract Rods, softball are influence in the world and the mass base of sports, after one hundred years of development, formed a special baseball and softball sports culture.
