为此本文针对不同类型的银行分别给出不同的建议。(1)对于国有银行而
言,国有银行应该依靠其强大的资金实力,可靠的产品体系和良好的销售渠道,
充分利用其在规模、市场、客户资源和影响力等方面的独特优势,迅速地发展
非利息业务,拓展其业务范围。(2)对于股份制银行来说,应该继续加快非利
息业务的发展,形成其独特的业务优势,比如招商银行的零售业务优势和浦发
银行的对公业务优势。(3)对于城商行和农商行,其资产规模远不及国有银行,
创新能力也不及股份制银行,对于它们来说,最有效的策略是扎根服务于本地
经济,提出适合自身的经营策略,在对本地经济形成一个良好支持的基础上,
努力进行多元化改革。

The Impact of the Diversified Income Structure of
Commercial Banks on Banking Risks

Abstract: Commercial banks in my country have long been based on traditional
interest business operations. Compared with Western developed countries, the United
States has begun the reform of commercial bank income diversification since the
1990s, and its non-interest income has already accounted for the total bank income.
Half of the revenue. In recent years, with the completion of interest rate market
reforms and the rise of Internet finance, commercial banks’ competition has become
increasingly fierce, causing them to endure increasing pressure from external
competition. Under domestic and foreign difficulties, commercial banks have realized
that they can no longer rely solely on traditional Business model, banks began to seek
diversified operations through transformation. However, whether commercial banks
should conduct diversified operations or specialized operations has been debated for
a long time. Can banks effectively reduce the operational risks of commercial banks
by implementing a diversified strategy? There is no clear answer to these questions.
It can be seen that it is necessary to study the relationship between the implementation
of diversification strategies of commercial banks and business risks.
This article first briefly describes the gap between the diversified development
of the international banking industry and my country’s banking industry, and through
the process of combing the results and opinions of domestic and foreign scholars in
their research, it is found that the experience of the diversified development of foreign
banking cannot simply Applied to commercial banks in our country, the research
content and significance of this article are put forward on this background. Then, it

summarizes the basic concepts such as the diversification of income structure and the
definition, composition and characteristics of bank risks, and analyzes the changes
and status quo of the income structure and bank risks of my country's commercial
banks from 2010 to 2019 in more detail; then, combine The theory of diversified
operations theoretically analyzes the feasibility of commercial banks implementing
diversified strategies to reduce bank operating risks. Finally, through empirical
analysis, a panel data model is established to explore the relationship between income
structure diversification and business risk, and conduct empirical analysis in groups.
The empirical results show that: (1) For all the sample banks, the diversification
of the income structure helps them reduce operating risks. (2) When adding bank scale,
executive compensation, deposit-loan spread, and external regulatory pressure as
adjustment variables, it is found that executive compensation has a negative
moderating effect, while other variables have limited moderating effects. (3) The
conclusions are different for different types of commercial banks. Through the
implementation of diversification strategies, joint-stock banks can effectively reduce
their operating risks, but the empirical results for state-owned banks, city commercial
banks and rural commercial banks are not significant.
For this reason, this article gives different suggestions for different types of banks.
(1) For state-owned banks, state-owned banks should rely on their strong financial
strength, reliable product system and good sales channels, and make full use of their
unique advantages in terms of scale, market, customer resources and influence, and
quickly Develop non-interest business and expand its business scope. (2) For joint-
stock banks, they should continue to accelerate the development of non-interest
business and form their unique business advantages, such as the retail business
advantage of China Merchants Bank and the corporate business advantage of
Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. (3) For city commercial banks and rural
commercial banks, their asset scale is far smaller than that of state-owned banks, and
their innovation capabilities are not as good as joint-stock banks. For them, the most
effective strategy is to take root in serving the local economy and propose a business
