进入21 世纪，随着物质和精神生活的不断充实和丰富，网球运动以其独特魅力，迅 速受到大众的喜爱和青睐，成为现代都市人群所追求的生活方式之一。但是，网球运动 在我国的发展并不均衡，东西部差距较大。尤其在是我国广大的西部地区，由于种种原 因，其社会发展水平与东部地区相差数十年。因此，包括网球在内的全民健身等社会事 业的发展受到了严重的制约。 如何在社会发展程度并不理想的地区推进精神文明建设，开展现代体育运动，成为 当今摆在体育工作者面前的一道难题。 本文通过文献资料、实地考察、专家访谈、问卷调查、数理统计以及逻辑分析等方 法，对在湖北少数民族聚居区推广普及网球运动的可行性，进行了调查研究，并对调查 数据进行了统计分析。结果表明，湖北少数民族聚居区具备了网球运动开展的基础条件， 可以推广普及。湖北少数民族聚居区网球运动的发展符合不发达地区体育运动发展的一 般特点。发展该地区网球运动的主要对策有，一、因地制宜开展社区及学校短式网球运 动；二、与教育相结合，发挥高校的人力和智力资源优势，服务地方体育事业，扩大初 级网球人口；三、利用网球的时尚魅力，创造条件，有意识吸引私营企业主参加网球运 动，促使其利用资本优势援助当地网球运动发展；四、依托当地旅游资源，吸引大型比 赛举办，带动本地网球运动发展。 网球运动的发展和水平的提高离不开它在群众中的普及程度，本文试图通过湖北少 数民族聚居区网球运动推广普及的可行性研究，探索出一条适合经济落后地区的网球运 动发展之路，为网球运动在我国的整个西部地区的开展普及，提供具有一定价值的理论 依据。 关键词，网球运动； 普及推广； 可行性II Abstract Tennis quickly wins public popularity and affection with its special charm in 21 century, especially among the youth，which has become one entertaining life style to city folks. However, the development in our country of the tennis is unbalanced; the disparity of the western and eastern is relatively large. Especially in the vast western region of our country, for various reasons, its social development level is far more backward than many other regions. Thus, prospects of nationwide fitness programs are immensely limited. How to improve the construction of spiritual civilization in those areas in spite of unsatisfactory social development, and successfully launch sports activities, has become a difficult problem as far as sports organizers are concerned. This article is about the availability and feasibility of popularizing tennis in the community of ethnic minority in HuBei province, which is supported by literatures, investigations on the spot, interviews with experts, questionnaires and statistical analysis。 The result comes out as followed: First, launch short-term tennis programs in communities and colleges. Second, take advantage of university resources and start elementary tennis training lessons.
