农村电子商务内生性社区能力的构建路径—基于资源协奏视角的研究
Research on the Developing Path of Endogenous Rural E-commerce
Community Capability:A Study Based on Resource Orchestration
Perspective
Abstract
Rural e-commerce provides opportunities for rural products and services, and it’s an
important channel to promote the solution of rural problems.Developing endogenous rural
e-commerce community capability is of great significance for the sustainable development.
However, the existing research mainly focuses on the development of rural e-commerce, but
has not paid attention to the capability construction of rural e-commerce under the sustainable
development concept. In order to fill this theoretical gap, this paper aims to explore "the
developing path of rural e-commerce community capability", including :(1) what dimensions
constitute the rural e-commerce community capability in China? How many types are there? (2)
How to develope the rural e-commerce community capability of different types?
Based onthe theory reviewof rural e-commerce,community capability, resource
orchestration, using the case study method and Gioia coding method, this paper firstly identifies
the dimensions of rurale-commerce community capability, then designsthe index and
questionnaire according to the dimensions recognized before, and lastly scores for all of the
dimensions contained by different typical rural e-commerce community capability by experts.
Based on the cluster analysis of the scoring results, three types of rural e-commerce community
capability were obtained. Next some typical cases of the three types of rural e-commerce
community capability are selected to conduct multiple case studies, and the developing path of
the three types of rural e-commerce community capability is explored from the perspective of
resource orchestration.
The results identify theconstituent dimensions and the types of rurale-commerce
community capability, and reveal the developing path of different types of rural e-commerce
community capability. (1) The rural e-commerce community capability consists of eight
capabilitydimensions:humanresourcecapability,infrastructurecapability,product
competitiveness, e-commerce operation capability, industrialization capability, e-commerce
supporting service capability, policy resource utilization capability and community culture. (2)
The rural e-commerce community capability can be divided into three types: e-businessman
driven, government-driven and industry-driven. (3) Due to different community resources,
culture, development of e-commerce resourceaction and action subject, there are three
different developing path for three types of rural e-commerce community capability.The

e-businessman driven type activates community resources by external introduction, transforms
andconstructs e-commerceresourcesdriven bylarge-scalee-businessman,and takes
large-scale e-businessman as the center to open up resources, realize resource orchestration and
develop community capability; The government-driven model activates community resources
by individual demonstration, transforms andconstructs e-commerce resources under the
guidance and support of the government, and the government coordinates the connection and
coordination of resourcesto realize theresource orchestration and developcommunity
capability; The industry-driven type activates community resources in a group spontaneous
manner, transformsand constructs e-commerceresources in theprocess oflarge-scale
e-businessmanutilizingindustrialresources andgovernmentguidedindustrialdigital
transformation, and the E-Commerce Association integrates and connects internal industrial
resources and external market resources in a platform manner, so as to realize resource
orchestration and develop community capability.
This paper studies the rural e-commerce community capability under the framework of
sustainable development concept, which makes up for the problem that existing researches
only focus on the development of rural e-commerce and ignore sustainable development,
and concretely reveals the path to achieve sustainable development through developing the
rural e-commercecommunity capability. The practicalvalue of thepaper lies inthe
suggestions and countermeasures given to the government, e-commerce associations and
community members, which can help rural communities dig out their own advantages, and
government and social institutions help make up for disadvantages, so as to realize the
sustainable development of rural e-commerce.
