Abstract
China is full of entrepreneurship and innovation environment, and employment is a
serious problem against the backdrop of COVID-19, a growing number of people
decide to start their own businesses . The proportion of college students as the main
body of entrepreneurship is increasing, but the success rate and performance of
entrepreneurial activities are low. As an individual and positive state, psychological
capital is an important factor affecting performance, and start-ups are affected by the
external institutional environment to a certain extent. On the basis of combing and
analyzing domestic and foreign literature, this paper explores the effect of
entrepreneurial psychological capital on entrepreneurial performance under the effect of
regulatory variables of entrepreneurial system environment, and collects data of
entrepreneurs through questionnaires, and uses regression model to test the relationship
between the three. The results indicate that entrepreneurial psychological capital has a
significant positive effect on entrepreneurial performance, and the institutional
environment of entrepreneurship will enhance the degree of impact of college students'
entrepreneurial psychological capital on entrepreneurial performance. Therefore,
colleges and universities can promote the success of entrepreneurial activities and
improve entrepreneurial performance by enhancing the psychological capital of college
students' entrepreneurs. The government and society can also improve the
entrepreneurial performance of college student entrepreneurs by improving the
entrepreneurial institutional environment.
