Study on employee incentive measures of R Property
Insurance Company in Shidian
Abstract
In recent years, with the rapid economic growth in China and its market becoming more
open and prosperous, R Property Insurance Company has been facing more and more
competitive risks, challenges and pressures in the market. In the globalized market
competition, enterprises have to pay special attention to the incentive of employees. There are
mainly two reasons. First, employees are the most important resources of an enterprise, and
the degree and effect of human resource investment obviously affect the competitiveness of
an enterprise; second, the fiercest competition today is for talent, which is intensifying. The
establishment of a scientific and reasonable talent management mechanism and incentive
measures is of great importance for enterprises to fully mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity
of employees.
This paper takes R Property Insurance Company in Shidian County as the research
object. By studying the current situation of employee incentives in R Property Insurance
Company, it analyzes the main problems existing in its employee incentives, and puts forward
some suggestions on employee incentive strategy for the company. Through the preliminary
review and investigation, it is found that the company is now facing the problems of low
working enthusiasm and high quit rate. In view of these problems, this paper, starting from
the overview of incentive theory, using research methods of literature review, interview and
questionnaire survey comprehensively, and combined with practices, analyzes the current
situation of employee incentive measures of R Property Insurance Company, and summarizes
the actual problems existing in the company in detail. These problems include: enterprise
culture and incentive measures are not effectively connected, talent management mechanism
is relatively backward, incentive measures and salary mechanism need to be improved, talent
training is not paid enough attention to, and staff incentive assessment mechanism needs to be
improved.
The focus of this paper is to provide the general idea of employee incentive optimization
strategy for R Property Insurance Company, and put forward the method and implementation
plan to optimize the employee incentive measures. Through the research and analysis of this
article, more scientific, reasonable, and humanized incentive measures were put forward
proceeding from the actual situation of the enterprise. Firstly, the employee salary distribution
system should be perfected and different salary distribution systems according to employees

in different positions should be formulated to enhance the incentive effect of salary; secondly,
an effective employee evaluation system should be established and a 360-degree performance
evaluation should be applied to employee evaluation to produce more scientific and fair
evaluation; thirdly, the job promotion system and the company’s inherent promotion mode
should be improved to open up the promotion channels for young people, and vitalize the
company; fourthly, effective employee training should be carried out and flexible, practical,
and targeted training programs should be enacted combining with positional characteristics to
focus on strengthening training results to form positive incentives; fifthly, the incentive role
of corporate culture should be fully exerted to empower spiritual needs and be motivational.
By proposing the above incentive measures, it is hoped that the enterprise could adopt them to
increase the enthusiasm of employees, reduce the enterprise’s employee turnover to a certain
extent, and improve its competitiveness in the local insurance market.
