The research on the catalogue distributor business model in the industry
of electronical components of china,as the example of RS
Abstract
The global electronics industry made rapid changes,and the electornics industry in China
also achieved considerable development and progress from globalization. This paper was
analyzed by RS company as the research object, and then amplifying development condition
to study the entire catalogue distributor group in the China market, then summarizes its’
business model development characteristics and advantages.This paper illustrates the
distributor channels and model of the theory,then analyze the industry background and market
competition of the whole catalogue distributors.Furthermore to understand the characteristics
and advantages of the business model on catalogue distributors.This paper carries on the
comparison to the catalogue distributor and main market business model from the static and
dynamic vision, to summarize the catalogue distributor's market value. Through the micro
analysis of RS company,by evaluating the main financial statement,to know RS company and
whole catalogue distributor group operating condition,and then verify their business model's
advantage of catalogue distributor.
This paper contains the study of the main catalogue distributors、business model in
China, and combine the study between the long tail theory and catalogue distributor business
model, which has a rich theoretical and practical guiding value.
