ABSTRACT
In this paper, the cost lean management of ST Grid Company&39;s information project was
studied and the existing model and shortcomings of ST Grid Company&39;s information project
cost management were analyzed based on the theoretical knowledge of cost management,
information project, and lean management. The author proposed the vision of implementing
cost lean management in information project and conducted studies on how to achieve this
vision. First, the existing cost management model of the company was analyzed in depth to
explore the situation and shortcomings of the company in project management, based on
which the target was set accordingly. Finally, a set of methods for internal management of the
company were developed, and the cost structure of the whole information project was
redesigned to form a cost lean management system for ST Grid Company&39;s information
project. It proved that cost lean management system in ST Grid Company produced better
management, economic and social benefits. In general, lean management was introduced into
the process of project cost management of ST Grid Company, and brought about favorable
management, economic and social benefits inside the company.
