Abstract Due to rapid economic development, the per capita disposable income
has been increasing year by year, while promoting the automobile consumption in
China. Auto market production has further expanded, with 25.22 million vehicles
produced in 2020, and this value is predicted to rise further and exceed 35 million
vehicles by 2025, auto service companies have a positive prospect for development. In
the service industry, compensation and its management are directly related to the
company's operation and development. High quality and efficient compensation
management can not only stimulate employees' enthusiasm and make their potential
fully explored, but also enhances employees' trust and loyalty to the company and
reduces their mobility, which is of great significance to sound development and
competitive advantage of company.
The research object of this paper is TH Automotive Technology Services Co., Ltd.
Through various means such as literature review and questionnaire distribution, it
statistically analyzes the current situation of compensation management of TH
Automotive Technology Service Co., Ltd. and points out it problems from three aspects
of compensation competitiveness, compensation incentive and compensation structure,
while proposing measures to optimize the structure of compensation system, improve
the job value assessment system and optimize the performance assessment mechanism.
To ensure that optimization measures can be implemented, companies should focus on
organizational structure, publicity and communication, and information system security.
The significance of this paper includes the following two aspects: first of all,
through the collection and collation of theories related to compensation management, it
is found that there are few studies on the optimization of compensation management in
the automotive service industry. This paper further refines the research object of

compensation management optimization, which can provide more sufficient cases for
academic research and enhance the richness of research data. Secondly, as a
representative company in the auto service industry in T County, TH Automotive
Technical Service Co., Ltd. can provide reference for the optimization of compensation
management in other auto service industries or even other service industries in T
County based on the optimization of compensation management in its company, and
jointly promote the development of service industry in T County.
