While there were signi?cant challenges, there was also hope. There was a surge of ?rst-time donors to nonpro?t organizations. “Small dollar” donors contributed three times more than pre-pandemic records. Overall giving grew by 4% coming off of a year where the global economy was in a state of dormancy. Mutual aid organizations cropped up around the world to support communities in need. We saw individuals and nonpro?ts alike building massive campaigns on TikTok and dipping their toes into cryptocurrency and NFTs. People showed up to help each other with curiosity and creativity, overcoming unprecedented challenges and delivering on the promise of community. Last year, we also launched HubSpot for Nonpro?ts, a dedicated program to help nonpro?t organizations own their digital platforms and scale meaningful change. Keeping up with expectations in digital can feel impossible, and making sure that your technology is up to the task is just
