December This project’s plan is to protect and preserve the historic characteristics of area, compliment the long heritage and continuity of this distinctive area’s history. “Human First is an important value and concept of this plan” a quote from the design program which we embracedtherefore our concept is more for the people of ChengDu and the residents of DongDa street. 此項目計劃是為了保護及保留此地區的獨特歷史特性。 “以人為先是本規劃的重要概念及價值” – 這句引自設計說明裡的話正好可以用來闡述此項目是主要為了服務成都和東大街市民。 Los Angeles ChengDu Shanghai concept introduction 基本概念簡介 Much of our thinking was how to try and plan for the future, what will the needs of a community of this size be In planning for DongDa Street Renaissance we linked our ideas with the surrounding areas though they were not part of this project dimensions, they are related to how this neighborhood will interact.
