“国际热带海滨风景旅游城市”的性质，对主城区及其滨海地段提出了新的要求。它应当是城区滨海段以旅游娱乐为主，配套休闲商业、餐饮、文化等各种旅游消费功能为一体的综合旅游不夜城。 “an international tourist city with tropical-seaside landscape” , this definition has posed new requirements on the central district and the coastal area. It is to be developed into a never-night comprehensive tourist town featured mainly by recreation and entertainment activities mixed with restaurants and shops.
