今天的克拉玛依是一个新兴的世界石油之城，
明天的克拉玛依是一个未来的能源之都……
随着60多年前石油资源的发现，年轻的克拉玛
依市在这片富饶的土地上成长起来。基础设施的
建设为克拉玛依引入了水这一宝贵的生命之源
Karamay today is an emerging World Petroleum City,
Karamay tomorrow is an Energy City of the Future...
Karamay is young city growing on the fortunes of petroleum discovered more than 60
years ago.Infrastructure projects have brought water to Karamay… a life sustaining
element.
Petroleum produces energy, water produces life.Karamay of tomorrow will enhance
the quality of life for city residents by leading the world in effective city growth strategies.
This will be accomplished by leveraging the existing petroleum economy, maximizing
existing water resources to… do more with less, and developing renewable energy
strategies specifc to Karamay’s unique climatic conditions.
Karamay is strategically located within a unique climatic zone well suited to take
advantage of renewable energy opportunities such as electrical generation with wind
power and building heating and cooling with solar radiation.With a continued emphasis
on water resources management and renewable energy potentials, Karamay will be the
Energy City of the Future.
