ABSTRACT
This interpreting report is based on a finincial programme, the topic of which is “Brand
Making: China’s Manufacturing New Normal State” from
Dialogue
as the corpus. Hosted by
Chen Weihong, the programme invited 5 professionals as special guests, including the
famous economist Li Yining. This programme makes full use of economits, publishing
groups, and enterprise executives to explore how to turn the Chinese Brands into World
Famous Brands, so that the transformation way from Chinese Products to Chinese Brands
would go more smoothly to develop the brand economy and promote industrial upgrading.
This interpreting report contains four parts, namely: description of interpreting task ,
translation process, case study and post translation evaluation. Since this interpreting report
belongs to the interview program, the interpreter should be unconstrained by the speaker's
own speech characteristics and take the context, register, and the background of the speakers
into consideration during the process of interperting. This interpreting report is completed
under the guidence of Cognitive Schema Theory of Schema Theory. The author analyzes the
role of schema theory played in listening, understanding and expression of conference
interpreting with samples from three aspects of characteristics of schema theory: language
schema, content schema and structure schema.
Besides, the author also analyzes the translation strategies and techniques from the
perspective of ancient poems, allusions, idiom, professional terminology, digital translation,
logical relationship processing, and English rhetorical in the process of interpreting under the
guidance of cognitive schema, thus to illustrate the importance of background knowledge in
pre-interpretation preparation, orginal text input and orginal text output. According to the
cognitive schema, the interpreter combines the old knowledge with the new knowledge in the

process of listening, and analyzes it with critical thinking to output the high quality
translation.The author attempts to deepen the openning cooperation of China’s
Manufacturing in the background of Belt and Road Initiative. What is more, the author
expects this interpreting report would help those who are interested in China’s Manufacturing
and Chinese Brands remove the initial impression of “Low cost and low labor force”. At the
same time, it will inspire the people who would like to make further study on the appliance of
Schema Theory interpreting pratice.

摘 要
本口译报告以财经访谈类节目《对话》中的一期《品牌制造:中国制造的新常态》
为语料,节目由陈伟鸿作为主持,邀请著名经济学家厉以宁等5位嘉宾作为特约嘉宾,
凝聚经济学家、出版集团,企业总裁们的力量,探究怎样让中国品牌成为世界品牌之路,
以期找到一条中国制造向中国品牌的转型之路,发展品牌经济,促进产业升级

本口译报告主要分为四个部分,即:口译任务描述、翻译过程、案例分析、译后评
价。因属于访谈类题材,译者在翻译访谈类节目时应不拘泥于发言人本身的讲话特点,
还应该结合当时的语境、语域,以及发言人的身份背景来进行翻译。译者以认知图式理
论为指导,根据认知图式理论的语言、内容、结构方面三大特点,并结合具体例子,说
明图式理论对会议口译过程中听力阶段、理解阶段,表达阶段所起到的作用

译者基于认知图式理论,就本口译项目中涉及的古诗词翻译、典故翻译、熟语翻译、
专业术语翻译、数字翻译、逻辑关系处理,以及英语修辞手法等多角度对翻译策略和技
巧进行分析,说明背景知识在口译中译前准备、口译过程、译文输出各个阶段的重要性

根据认知图式,译者在听力过程中将原有的旧的知识和吸收到新的知识相结合,并运用
批判性思维加以分析,进而输出高质量的译文。译者期望本口译项目,在“一带一路”
倡议背景下,深化制造业开放合作,使得对中国制造和中国品牌感兴趣的有志之士,能
够对中国制造“低成本、低廉价劳动力”最初阶段的印象有所改观,同时为旨在研究图
式理论在会议口译中的应用的后人一点启发
