GS 银行作为中国发展较早的国有商业银行,自 1984 年成立以来,秉承“工
于至诚 行以致远”的经营理念,积极探索金融创新,资产规模持续扩大,经营实
力不断增强

但是随着我国金融业改革开放的不断扩大与深入,外资银行的纷纷进入、
各种类型中资银行的加速出现,金融市场的竞争日益白热化。同时,存贷利差
的缩小、投资渠道的多样化等因素导致商业银行生存发展的空间范围受挤不断
缩小。商业银行通过将自身主要竞争能力的提升,才能在激烈的市场竞争中保
持不败、开拓创新,更快更好地发展,成为同业的佼佼者

核心竞争力,其自身在独特知识技术积累之上拥有的一项竞争力。一个企
业成功的取得来源于主要竞争能力的赢得,及对竞争能力优势方面的维持,这
种竞争力通过多层次、多样化表现出来,其中包含了技术的独特性、组织结构
的先进性以及超强的人力资源等。GS 银行想要在市场环境的激励竞争中得到较
多的客户,占据大部分的市场,拥有较高的竞争力就需要将核心竞争力加以提
升,因此,GS 银行应当做到有的放矢,找到自身在市场中的位置,将未来的发
展方向予以明确,创造出稳定优异的客户群体,吸引战略投资者的进入,将管
理机制加以完善,建设先进的企业文化,健全内控体系等,通过增强内、外合
力加快培育核心竞争力,使自己永远立于不败之地

本文对现存银行的核心竞争力的评价方式加以汇总,建立了一套新的针对
国有商业银行核心竞争力发展的评论体系。从安全性、流动性、盈利性和成长
性等方面评价 GS 银行的现有核心竞争力,指出其在发展过程中存在中间业务拓
展能力薄弱、客户服务、创新速度较慢等问题。由此,针对 GS 银行应该采取的
措施与对策提出建议,包括提高创新能力、盈利能力、严控风险防范等,希望
借此提高 GS 银行的核心竞争力

ABSTRACT
As a state-owned commercial bank which develops early in China, GS bank
insists on operation principle which is to “realize sustainable development through
integrity” since 1984 when it was established to actively explore financial innovation,
continuously enlarge asset size, and constantly strengthen business capacity.
As reform on financial industry in China is continuously extended and deepened;
foreign banks enter into China in succession; and various kinds of Chinese-funded
banks arise; all of these contribute to increasingly drastic competition on financial
market. Meanwhile, factors such as shrink of interest spreads of deposit and loan and
diversification of investment channels result that living space and development space
of commercial banks is shrunk constantly. Only promoting self principal
competitiveness, could commercial banks keep unbeaten under drastic market
competition, blaze new trails in a pioneering spirit, develop better and quicker, and
become the strong performer within the industry.
Core competitiveness refers to a kind of competitive power which develops
based on accumulation of unique knowledge technology of the enterprise under a
certain system and scope. Success of an enterprise roots in main competitiveness of
such enterprise and its maintenance on advantages of competitiveness; such
competitiveness will be reflected through multilevel and diversification, including
peculiarity of technologies, advancement of organization structure, super-strong
human resource, etc.. To gain more clients under fierce competition, to occupy most
part of market and to have relatively high competitiveness, core competitiveness shall
be improved. Therefore, GS bank shall shoot the arrow at the target that they shall do
something necessary and do not do something unnecessary to find out their position
in market, confirm direction of future development, develop stable and excellent
client groups, attract strategic investors, perfect management mechanism, establish
advanced enterprise culture, and complete inner control system; make itself remain
invincible by enhancing internal and external forces and cultivating coreABSTRACT

competitiveness.
The paper will conclude existing methods on evaluating core competitiveness of
banks, then will set up a new evaluation system aiming to develop core
competitiveness of state-owned commercial banks. The paper will also assess existing
core competitiveness owned by GS bank from aspects of security, liquidity,
profitability and growth, and point out problems encountered by GS bank in the
course of development such as weak ability on business development, customer
service, and low innovation; then present suggestions on related measures such as
improvement on innovation ability, profitability, strict risk prevention, hoping to
enhance the core competitiveness of GS bank.
