Research on risk management of HLD commercial banks
Abstract
The U.S. subprime crisis reflects the importance of risk management many
western commercial banks have formed a set of strict risk management system but
China's commercial banks in risk management is still in the initial stage.
With the impact of China's reform of the market economy and the accession to the
WTO China's banks have brought new development prospects and different forms of
challenges. China's banks are facing increasingly fierce competition and the risks are
also more complex. Therefore as soon as possible to improve the risk management
system and comprehensively improve the level of risk management is an important
problem that China's commercial banks need to solve urgently.
Therefore it is of great significance to explore the risk of banks. This paper from
the actual HLD of commercial banks and the risk management theory of commercial
banks in China as the starting point the risk is summed up and distinction and lack
of awareness of risk management the risk management tools behind method and
content management mechanism is not perfect high-quality risk management talent
shortage lack of effective five aspects the corporate governance structure are pointed
out emphatically in the risk management of HLD commercial bank's problems and
shortcomings aiming at the existing problems put forward feasible countermeasures.
The deep reasons exist in the financial risk management of HLD commercial bank
problems that the thoughts of the shortage but also the defects of system construction
and management of technical backwardness the developed countries need to
summarize and learn from foreign advanced experience of risk management to
improve the competitiveness of commercial banks survival HLD. This paper puts
forward a series of practical suggestions on how to improve the risk management ability
of HLD business.
