Research on Company A's Ethylene and Propylene Derivatives
Long-term Development Investment Opportunities Selection
Abstract
In order to find proper Ethylene and Propylene (C2 and C3) derivatives product to invest
in 5-10 years, this thesis paper analyze products via screening criterias which were made and
weighted by company A's work team based on company A's resources and advantages. The
key screening criterias are profitability, structural attractiveness, rate of growth, 5-10 years
market and investment attractiveness, opportunity size, reduces profit cycle volatility, etc..
The scores of the criterias for each product are got based on the basic economic analysis such
as macro-ecnomic environment, Ethylene and Propylene derivatives' global and China supply
and demand status, supplier concentration and industry structure, and company A's own
references so as to select the first three opportunities. In addition, this paper also puts forward
further measures on how to select ethylene and propylene derivatives investment
opportunities, and also gives advices and considerations on implementation.
